HSA Checking
A Health Savings Account (HSA) is designed for customers with high deductible health plans, to use for payment of qualified medical expenses. HSAs are IRA-like, in that contributions are tax-deductible and distributions are not taxable if used for qualified medical expenses. As with traditional CDs and IRAs, HSAs are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for up to $250,000 per depositor on all deposit accounts, unlike many other types of investments.
